Color Your World with Happiness.

Feeling low? Depressed? Angry? Do you know color have a vital role in our lives? Colors have a hidden power to make or break our mood. As, when we see a color, our brain releases different types of chemicals and these chemicals show there impact on us. So, we can change our mood and enhance our performance with a just simple color change in our lives.

01 – Color and your surroundings:

You can always add your personal taste, by adding any accessories such as lights, lamps etc. Dark colors are mesmerizing and warm as they give large rooms a more seductive appearance.  On the other hand, light colors have a calm and soothing effect and they do make rooms seem larger and spacious. Now let’s find out more about colors and what they can do to your room.

02 – Colors and their different properties:

White, Black, Grey

White is well known for its purity, innocence, calming properties. Black is rich, mysterious and lavish but never overuse it; it’s always advisable to use it in small proportions. Being neutral color, Grey is best for accessories such as cushions, lamps, mats. And all these 3 colors are classic.

Scarlett

A deep shade of red can make feel some people restless. This color should not be the main color of your room. Having a discussion in the red painted room can cause heated arguments.

Green

It’s an old saying green to eyes so green to heart. Green is one of the most restful and relaxing color. In the bedroom, green will pass the relaxing vibes.  You can use green in decorative items as well as main color.

Orange

Orange is color of excitement, happiness, inviting, and joyful. It invokes feelings of sociability, enjoyable connection, and happiness. This color got some strong emotions of openness and frank behavior. Being, so eye catchy and summer friendly that you can use orange it in the conference room, parties or in your drawing room to promote interaction and relationship building. Orange containing red, can also be overused. Too much orange (or an orange that is too bright or intense) can create overwhelming, irritating or frustrating feelings.

Violet and Pink

Violet and pink are very girly colors. These colors are soft but still very dramatic. Both of these colors are from the same family of PURPLE and in the same way known for royalty and sophistication. It promotes creativity, intuition and artistic ability. In design, violet communicates richness and pink making it exotic. Overuse of violet and pink may result in feelings of obsession and insecurity.

Yellow

Yellow is the color of free will and easy going. This color is known for its other qualities like optimism, brightness, cheery attitude and mental clarity. It promotes intelligence and decision making. Yellow can be helpful in easing depression because we can relate it to sunny days and encourages laughter. Using yellow in kid’s room is a great idea, as it will keep your kids happy and joyful. But as we say, an excess of everything is bad, intense and deep yellows, can increase irritability, crying, hyperactivity, and can shorten tempers in babies and children (as well as in adults).

Blue

Blue is calm and intense, and also very popular color. Blue can be very helpful to ease you and hush away insomnia and promote a deep relaxing sleep. It nourishes the mind and promotes the creative and peaceful environment.Balancing blues with a warmer, more relational color is a great idea for gathering spaces in a home. High dose of blue in your surroundings can be tolerated as compared to other colors, blur is a soulful color, on the other hand, darker shades of blue can shift into a feeling of pessimism.
